The Sacred Lotus finds its way in many of the ancient scripture and pictorial arts of Indian and Buddhist monks. The wise Lord Buddha too, is said to have sat in concentration a lotus position, nestled in the middle of a lotus flower, on his journey to enlightenment. In much oriental folklore, the Lotus carried special powers, and so it was christened ‘the Sacred Lotus’.
In our quest to uncover a breakthrough in beauty, the alchemy of this legacy came to life. Three 1,288 years old Lotus Seeds were planted to test if they still have the power to regenerate. And in just four days the ancient seeds sprouted fresh Lotus plants, showcasing powerful characteristics of longevity and vitality. Our scientists found within the lotus seed, a powerful protein repair enzyme - MethylTransferese (MT). It is the first one ever isolated which signals cellular renewal and repair formulating the “ Lotus BioRepair MT Complex”.
From within this formulation was born Mitchell’s unique Indian range.
