Four decades ago, Sunita Ramnathkar, a bio-chemist by training, set out to make superior skincare products to solve beauty issues that she and other Indian women faced.
In 1981, she launched FEM, India’s first facial bleach, which enabled Indian women to safely hide unwanted facial hair at home. Product demonstrations took Sunita across the country where she interacted with millions of Indian women, many of whom shared the false belief that ageing well, with glowing, youthful-looking skin was purely the result of good genes.
Determined to introduce Indian women to the world's best anti-aging skincare biotechnologies, Sunita acquired a stake in Mitchell USA in 2008, and gained access to extraordinary anti-ageing skincare formulations developed in some of the most advanced research laboratories in the world.
After years of testing to increase the suitability of these formulations to melanin-rich South Asian skin, which also has a unique dermis structure, Sunita launched Mitchell USA’s Age-Less range in 2017.
